imageSeptember brought a chance to drive a Delahaye sports car at the VSCC Loton Park Hillclimb.  The car is owned by Ross Keeling and is a fabulous piece of engineering and beautifully prepared and infact restored too by Ross and his dad.  The 3.5 litre straight six pulled well, reminding James of the power of his old Alvis Speed 25 engine fitted to the Frazer Nash.  The engine pulled well enough to win class 6 outright, with Ross himself driving the car to a very close second place.  The Delahaye 135MS is a formidable car, and remarkably is a standard car.  Not surprisingly it was the fastest sports car at the meeting!!
